Privacy Policy — Build With Brian SMS Program

Build With Brian ("we") operates an automated missed-call text-back service for our own business line, (325) 238-9714. This policy explains how we handle your information when you interact with our phone number.

How opt-in consent is collected

You opt in to text messages in exactly two ways, and only by your own action:

Phone menu keypress. When you call (325) 238-9714 and the call goes unanswered, you hear an automated menu that identifies our business, describes the text-back offer, states that message and data rates may apply, explains how to opt out, and states that pressing 1 means you agree to receive text messages under our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. If you press 1, we record your keypress together with the call SID and timestamp as your consent record. If you do not press 1, you are offered voicemail and no text is sent about that call.

Keyword text. Our website footer invites you to text YES to (325) 238-9714. The invitation states that by texting YES you agree to receive text messages from Build With Brian under our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy, that message and data rates may apply, and that you can reply STOP to opt out. Your inbound YES text is your consent record.

We never add a phone number to this program without one of these two explicit opt-in actions.

Information we collect

Your phone number (caller ID)

The date and time of the call

How you opted in (menu keypress with call SID, or inbound YES text)

The content of any messages you choose to send us in reply (you may volunteer a name or other details; we do not require anything beyond your phone number)

How we use it — the user journey after consent

Your phone number is used for one purpose, in this order:

You press 1 (or text YES) — consent recorded.

We send you a single automated SMS: on the press-1 route it identifies Build With Brian, apologizes for the missed call, and invites you to reply with how we can help; on the YES route it confirms your opt-in. Both include opt-out instructions.

If you reply, we respond conversationally to your message.

You may reply STOP at any time to opt out — you receive one confirmation text and no further messages.

Frequency: one automated text per missed call or YES request, plus conversational replies while you engage. Message and data rates may apply. We do not use your number for marketing messages and never add it to a marketing list.

Sharing with third parties

We do not share your mobile information or messaging consent data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Ever.

To deliver the texts you requested, your phone number and message content are transmitted through Twilio Inc., our messaging provider, and through its delivery network of carriers and aggregators as needed to complete delivery. This operational processing exists solely to deliver your requested messages.
